It has been a long time since I wrote the last time.
A few things have happened I guess.
I got a dozen beautiful roses from Lee for my birthday last week. What a wonderful surprise. They are so pretty. He brought them to work on Tuesday and I kept them there all week. I had so many compliments on them. That was a wonderful surprise.
I won a birthday bouquet from Cool 98.7 too - They chose the winner from all of the people that had their birthdays this past week. That was a great surprise too. Lee is going to go and get the certificate for me on Monday - I work during the hours their business office is open - and then I can go and see what I get with the certificate at Hirsch Floral in Mandan. That is nice.
We got a new "fur baby" on Wednesday. We have been kind of lonesome since our KoKo passed
away in February - so - now we have another one. So far YumYum has been really good with him. He is a 5 year old siamese and he is beautiful. He is a little scared though and hides a lot. He just came out for a couple of minutes and actually walked around the living room before disappearing again. I hope that within the next week or so he gets more comfortable with being here and around all of us.
What a glooomy day today! Cold and raining all day. Sure doesn't seem
like June at all. Better here than in Dickinson though where they had SNOW... YIKES... IT is supposed to be like this for several more days before it starts to warm up at all.
Doesn't sound like we will be getting the pool ready for the boys any time soon. It is too cold for the water to warm up so far. Maybe next week???
